Description
Online Purchase/Buy E-Commerce Experience. Online Usability & User Experience Expert. Articulate and write business requirements to enhance usability. Strong knowledge of back-end systems and databases. 



The individual will be responsible for creating a best in class online experience by conceptualizing creative enhancement solutions based on user behavior metrics to maximize sales opportunities. 



The ideal candidate has strong online/buy path experience, strong knowledge of back-end systems and databases, wireframing and site flow skills, ability to understand and articulate site metrics and analytics, project management skills, online sales experience, executive level communication skills, vendor management background and significant online usability/user experience background (Human Factors). They must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams in various locations. They will work closely with vendors, HQ marketing and IT organizations, and creative design agencies. 



o Increase online sales thru optimization of the online buy path 
o Conceptualize and recommend multi-transactional experiences in the web buy flow 
o Articulate and write business requirements for implementation by IT organizations 
o Create basic wireframes and flow diagrams 
o Learn about the customers, their behavior, and advocate for the customer point of view while meeting business sales objectives 
o Assist with cross functional teams aimed at increasing online sales thru flawless execution funnel transformation projects 
o Support the implementation of key projects and functionality to maintain Verizon Wireless in a leadership position for online sales 
o Initiate test and target, usertesting.com opportunities to ensure best in class experiences are implemented 
o Run detailed analysis pre and post launches to effectively forecast and measure results

o 5+ yrs experience in user experience, information architecture, and strategy 
o BS Degree preferred 
o Customer-facing eCommerce/web buy sites 
o Complex business rules 
o Solving usability issues 
o Articulating and writing technical business requirements 
o Back-end systems, databases, and security 
o Interfacing with agencies 
o Using site metrics and data to drive user experience and business decisions 
o Human Factors Certification or related expertise 
o Photoshop and design applications 
o Agile Project Flow 
o Endeca/ATG 
o Adobe CQ5, Site Catalyst (or similar metrics tool), and Test & Target 
o Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JQuery, Javascript 
o Certification in Meclabs Landing Page Optimization 
o Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple/simultaneous, highly complex, cross-functional projects/initiatives 
o Proven ability to work and interact with multiple stakeholder groups and agencies / vendors 
o Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint high proficiency required)
